Basement Flooding in St. Joseph Missouri

The cause of this basement flood was the result of excessive rain in the local St. Joseph area. Our spring weather was unexpected this year but SERVPRO was prepared to help. The water was up against the edge of the walls and baseboards, therefore extensive drying had to take place. Baseboards had to be removed in order to ensure mold would not grow. Mold restoration is more costly and time consuming, so call us to make sure proper moisture cleanup is done rather than later when mold begins to appear. This after picture was taken only a couple days after the water incident! Our customer was thrilled with the results and glad the process was quick and easy!
